Lol,This is older news from last year, but it is something that many people never knew or heard of. This idea was cooked up by the China government and it has left many people speculating the reason as to "WHY??" they would do this.The Chinese government spent a little over 470,000 yuan, in an effort to paint the Laoshou Mountain green.

'' Villagers in southwestern China are scratching their heads over the county government's decision to paint an entire barren mountainside green.
Workers who began spraying Laoshou mountain last August told villagers they were doing so on orders of the county government but were not told why, media reports said.''

''Some people believe that they did this in effort to improve the "Feng Shui" of the area, others are speculating they did this to make China appear to have a lush landscape in the drier areas.''

Rofl, improve fengshui by spraying the mountain green???
